Located in a renovated industrial building at 1214 Arch Street in Center City Philadelphia, the facilities of The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM) include three exhibition galleries, a video lounge, and the Museum Shop. In addition, The New Temporary Contemporary at 1222 Arch Street offers added space for exhibition programming and storefront windows facing the street used for site-specific artist projects and installations.
The Fabric Workshop and Museum's construction and print studios are open to the public by appointment, giving visitors access to exhibitions of innovative works of contemporary art, video programs, works from the FWM permanent collections, and works in progress. Other areas include administrative offices, a fully equipped photo/video lab, a pigment/dye room, darkroom, and archives.
